We decided this was a fun opportunity to meet up again and do some flying, so she flew out to Houston the weekend before and we set aside a few days to make our way along the southern border in my 1985 C172.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sophia flew in to Houston from the UK &#8211; I picked her up from Houston Intercontinental in the 172, and we flew back to my home in a hangar on the West Houston Airport. A 15 minute flight sure beats a 90 minute drive, and parking the airplane and walking straight into your apartment is the best!
